Join us for our
Women’s Open Month!

We want to get more women playing golf.
Whether you are new to the sport, or have tried it before, we are creating an opportunity to bring together a community of women who want to enjoy the game of golf.
Research shows that women don’t know where to start, and feel intimidated by the sport. And currently, only 20% of golfers in Australia are women.*
But we’re here to change that.
Join us for our Women’s Open Month, where Sarka (one of our PGA Professionals) will facilitate a number of workshops, introducing women to the great game of golf.

FAQs

Do these sessions cost anything?

They are completely free. We want to give you an excuse to try golf, to meet our GolfSpace community, and be introduced to the sport by a passionate PGA coach.

I’m new to golf, is this right for me?

These sessions are for any ability, and any level. No experience is necessary, and it’s great for any age.

How long do these sessions go for? When are they?

Each session goes for 1 hour. We have a mix of session times available, including AM & PM, across weekdays and weekends.

What does the intro session involve?

These will take place on Saturday evenings only. Get spoiled with a glass of prosecco on your arrival and enjoy a community of women who love golf. You will get a chance to have a hit and receive advice from our PGA Professional, Sarka.

What does the beginner session involve?

In this session, you will learn the fundamentals of golf and learn how to become on-course ready. Our aim is to remove the intimidation from the sport and build your confidence in all elements of the game.

What does the intermediate session involve?

In this session, we will introduce you to the elements of PlayMaker 6 and how learning in this way will help elevate your game to the next level. PlayMaker 6 is our unique coaching philosophy, centered around 6 core elements. You can read more about it here.

It’s tough for me to get there with the kids, can they come?

Of course. We welcome everyone into our venue, your kids can either sit and watch, or get involved if they’d like!

What do I need to wear/bring? Is club hire included?

We don’t have a uniform policy, so wear whatever is comfortable (closed shoes please). Feel free to bring your own water, but note we have an on-site bar too. Club hire is available on-site, so you don’t need to worry about owning your own set of clubs!

I want more information, where do I go?

We’re always open for a chat. You can email us at info@golfspace.com.au, or give us a call on (02) 8331 6868. Alternatively, when you’re next in the facility, come and chat to us at the bar.

What else does GolfSpace do?

We’re glad you asked. We have a world-class putting green, a 35m driving range so you can see your ball flight, and 12x Trackman simulator bays which cover all aspects of your game. So if you play alone or with a team, and whether you want to play casually, focus during a lesson, or work to enhance your performance, there is an area for you. Plus an on-site bar!
